Newlyn to Neyland

Gaffers left Newlyn around 06:30. Some were going to Neyland, others Padstow.

It was a lovely sunny morning and the breeze was north-easterly.

At first, we followed the coast of Cornwall, which gave us the option of going into Padstow if the weather wasn’t particularly good.

The wind changed direction and we were able to head straight towards Milford Haven, so we took the opportunity to sail there, arriving at the entrance at 07:30 the next day.

Unfortunately, we had a foul tide as we headed up to Neyland, so we didn't get moored up until 10:15.
