Peterhead

Friday 30th June

Afer waiting for the delivery of my new phone to the harbour office, we left Fraserburgh about 13:00.

We had a really good sail to Rattray Head, reaching speeds of over 5 knots on a beat, with full sail.

A passing boat took photos of us. We met the skipper, William, in Peterhead Marina and he very kindly emailed the photos to us.

The tide had turned against us and the water was quite choppy, when we got to Rattray Head so we motored in.

Moon River, Minstrel and Indian Runner are also moored here.

We will be staying in Peterhead, until at least Tuesday when the strong winds abate. (There's not a lot to see or do though!)

Sunday 2nd July
We took the bus to Aberdeen to visit the Maritime Museum, which was very interesting.
