Wednesday 21st June.

Leaving Loch a' Choire around 10:15, we managed to sail all the way to Corpach, in variable winds.

We arrived around 16:30, hoping to get into the basin, but luck wasn't on our side so we moored in the marina, along with Charlotte Elizabeth, Bonita and Titch. We managed to get a table for 9 at  The Moorings Hotel, where we enjoyed good food and good company.

We have been informed that the gearbox on the Gairlochy Swing Bridge has been removed and is, therefore, unable to be opened indefinitely.

We are now waiting to find out whether we can enter the canal tomorrow, and are planning to, if necessary, take down our mast to pass under the bridge.
